Your privacy is fundamental to us. This policy explains how KickChrono handles your data, with particular focus on health and fitness data collected through your Apple device.

2. Data Collection and Purposes

KickChrono collects and processes the following types of data:

Health and Fitness Data (HealthKit): We use Apple's HealthKit framework to read data such as heart rate, active energy burned, and distance traveled. This data is used exclusively to display your performance during the match and to save the activity as a "Workout" in the Apple Health app.
Movement Data (CoreMotion): We access motion sensors to accurately calculate steps and distance during game sessions.
User-Entered Data: Player names and match settings entered in the app are stored on your device.
Cloud Synchronization (CloudKit): If enabled by the user, match data and player lists are synchronized across your devices using Apple's iCloud (CloudKit). This data is stored in your private iCloud database, accessible only by you.

        Specific HealthKit Disclosure: KickChrono does not use or share data collected via HealthKit with third parties for advertising, marketing, or use-based profiling purposes. Your health data never leaves your Apple ecosystem (device or iCloud).
    

3. Notifications and Live Activities

Local Notifications: KickChrono uses local notifications exclusively to inform you about the match conclusion. These are generated entirely on your device.

Live Activities: The app uses Live Activities to show real-time scores on your lock screen. This information is processed locally and is not transmitted to third parties.

4. Third-Party Sharing

No Data Sharing: KickChrono does not sell, rent, or share any personal or health data with third-party companies, advertisers, or data brokers. All synchronization happens exclusively through Apple's secure infrastructure (iCloud).

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Data is retained as long as the app is installed or until you manually delete it. Since data is synced via iCloud:

Deleting a match or a player within the app will remove it from both the local device and your iCloud storage.
You can disable iCloud synchronization at any time in the app settings.

6. Children's Privacy

KickChrono does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent and aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

7. Legal Basis for Processing

Data processing occurs exclusively based on your explicit consent, provided when requesting system permissions (iOS/watchOS authorization popups).

8. Your Rights

You have the right to withdraw consent, access your data via the Health app, or request deletion of all app data at any time.
